To begin, download Disk Drill to your Mac, and install it. Open Disk Utility from Finder > Applications > Disk Utility 2. Disk Drill is available for both Windows and Mac. Select Apply > Partition, and then select Continue. To recover files from a lost Mac partition using Disk Drill: Download and Install Disk Drill. Enter the size or drag the resize control to increase or decrease the size of the partition.

Type a name for the partition in the Name field. Start up from macOS Recovery: Turn on your Mac, then immediately press and hold these two keys until you see an Apple logo or other image: Command (⌘) and R.
